Lockdown 2021: What have we been up to?

We might have been in lockdown for the entire year so far, but that hasn't stopped team Giraffe from keeping busy...

Although Boris's news meant we had to be closed (non-essential retail), we haven't let the restrictions get us down. In fact, thanks to you, our lovely customers, we've had one of the busiest periods yet. Our florists have been non-stop with online orders for Manchester delivery, and behind the scenes we've been creating some new collections and have even got some new improvements for the shop once it re-opens. Not to mention a few photoshoots too!

Flower deliveries to your door

It's safe to say we've all been guilty of online ordering throughout lockdown, and you guys have proved that the same goes for flowers too. Our team of florists have been super busy each day preparing and arranging the various bouquets. And as for our delivery team, they've built up the step-count and clocked up the miles across Manchester and have raised plenty of smiles during the pandemic. Thanks for all your orders!
  

New collections to the website

The team has been busy behind the scenes creating exciting new ranges and collections for the various seasons. We launched our largest valentine's collection yet, dropped a fabulous Mother's Day range, and most recently our Easter products. Whatever the season and occasion, we absolutely love creating a collection, and you sure love them too.
 

Improvements to the shop ready for re-opening

Woohoo! Its almost April 12th which means life gets a step closer to normality. We're super excited to be opening the doors again to our florist. There's nothing we love more than helping Manchester city centre's people find the perfect flowers and plants as they pass by. We've been working on some in-store improvements which we can't wait to share with you, including this wonderful new sign which will help you find us even better.

Have you met Instagram drag sensations Liquorice Black and Anna Phylactic? Our gorgeous friends have been modelling our new collections lately. From Valentines to Easter, the girls have posed perfectly with our hand-tied bouquets and gifts and the photos are just amazing. Watch this space for more creative shoots.
